Decked does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Full stop.

What Decked does

Decked is a flashcard app. Everything you create, every review you log, and every setting you change lives on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, no cloud sync, and no server.

What we collect from you

Nothing.

No personal identifiers.
No usage analytics.
No crash reports sent to our servers (Apple may collect crash reports through its own system if you opt in to sharing diagnostics with Apple at the OS level — that is between you and Apple, not us).
No advertising IDs.
No location data.
No contacts, photos, or any other device data.

Where your data lives

Your decks, cards, reviews, streaks, and settings are stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. That data never leaves your phone unless you back up your device to iCloud through iOS's standard backup system — in which case it sits in your own iCloud account under your Apple ID, not ours.

Third parties

Decked does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. There are no third parties.

Widget and App Groups

Decked includes an iOS home screen widget. For the widget to show your due cards and streak, the app writes a small amount of summary data (counts, dates) to a shared App Group container on your device. This data stays on your device.

Imports

When you import a flashcard file (Anki .apkg, CSV, or pasted text), the file is read and processed locally. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Children

Decked is rated 4+ and does not collect any information from anyone, so it is safe for children. It is not directed specifically at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. If a future version of Decked were ever to start collecting data, we would update this policy and ask for your explicit consent in-app before anything leaves your device.
